Today we had brunch with Kenneth and his family. We had yong tau fu which are some vegetables (eggplant, bittergourd, tofu, okra, beancurd ) with fish paste as stuffing. Some were fried and some were in soup. It was delicious ! Then Penny's father chauffeured us around town and the first stop was at the Abdul Samad Building where Malaysia's first Prime Minister declared their independance on August 31st 1957. It is also an old courthouse. Then we passed by the old train station on our way to Central Market, again. Everybody bought stuff there and happily go home to rest fo the afternoon. Penny and I checked out the Sunday night market again and this time was hopeful as the heavy rain had stopped by 6pm, yippee!! We bought Larissa's clothing and of course ..... snacks! I had a "Ramlee burger" and Penny had fruit rojak and roasted tofu with cracker and peanuts. What a fruitful day :-) The good thing is Penny managed to spend more time with her parents today.
